1256 Movement Mission
The 1256 Mission is to impact 1,256 low to medium income families in North Tulsa in ten years by building affordable, quality homes black people can own, using equity to fund education, businesses, and build hope.
1256 Movement Vision
We believe businesses, builders in particular, can do justice and make lasting change through building homes and home ownership in North Tulsa. The 1256 Movement was born out of a faith in God that leads us to love, be merciful, humble ourselves, and do justice work in our community. Hope-filled outcomes of increased home ownership by black families will be exponential in the next decade. Families can build on home equity to educate their children, build businesses, leading to prosperity and flourishing.
